Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the sports of combat. She studied boxing, kickboxing as well as wrestling, before making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first minute. Then, she went back to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's records for amateur. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record up to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 saw her move up to Bantamweight after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill was able to take down McGill, and she was able to end her fight in the third round via TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. Her dominance grew and she got a bigger win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger during the first round, and was awarded an outstanding performance bonus. She fought her first big fight in the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both the fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter received an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
